Terms of use

These terms govern your use of shockeen.in and any order placed with Shockeen. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language and we have kept them as short as we reasonably can.

About us

"Shockeen Bakers" is a trade name used by Anurag Kumar, sole proprietor, operating a small-batch cupcake bakery in Delhi. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean this proprietorship. References to "you" mean the person placing an order or browsing the site.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of India to place an order. By placing an order you confirm that the contact and delivery details you provide are accurate and that the WhatsApp number is reachable.

Placing an order

• Orders are placed either via WhatsApp at +91 72890 77289 or through our online order flow at shockeen.in/order.
• An order is provisional until we confirm it. Online orders are confirmed once we have verified your UPI payment (see "Pricing & payment" below). WhatsApp orders are confirmed when we reply with a confirmed slot.
• We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion — for example, if the delivery address falls outside our service area, if the requested slot is unavailable, or if we cannot verify payment.
• All photographs of cupcakes on the site are of our own product. Handmade cupcakes will show small variation between batches; this is normal.

Pricing & payment

• Prices shown on the menu are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of GST. The GST included in your total is shown at checkout and itemised on the tax invoice for the order.
• The delivery fee depends on your delivery PIN code, not on the value of the order. Some areas we serve are free; others carry a fixed fee for that area. Enter your PIN code on the order page to see the exact fee before you pay — the amount shown in the cart is the amount charged. The current areas and fees are listed in our Delivery policy.
• Payment for online orders is collected at checkout via UPI, cards, netbanking or wallets, processed by our payment partner Razorpay. Your order is confirmed automatically once the gateway clears the payment. If the gateway is temporarily unavailable, we may instead offer a direct UPI QR where you submit the 12-digit UTR reference for manual verification before confirmation.
• Cash on Delivery is offered at checkout when it is available. When it is not shown, the order is prepaid. Because every order is baked for a day you book in advance, placing it reserves your place in that day's bake.
• We do not store card or bank details on our servers. Online payments are processed and settled by Razorpay; UPI transactions settle directly between your bank and ours.
• Limited-time prices: from time to time a flavour is offered at a reduced price. Such prices end at the time shown and cannot be combined with coupon codes. The price is fixed when your order is placed.
• Server-side pricing is authoritative. If a display price on the site disagrees with the price computed at checkout, the checkout price applies; we will flag and correct any error before confirming.

Lead time & delivery

• We bake to order and hold no finished stock, so we do not deliver same day. The earliest delivery is the next day.
• Booking: delivery can be booked up to 7 days ahead at checkout, with next-day booking open until 7:00 PM; after that the earliest bookable day is the day after next. Daily capacity is limited and a day that is fully booked is not offered. Cancellation and date-change terms are in our Refunds & Cancellations policy.
• Batch orders (24 cupcakes or more, or custom decoration) require at least 48 hours notice and are arranged over WhatsApp.
• We are closed on Tuesdays — no deliveries that day. Orders can still be placed on a Tuesday for a later day.
• Full delivery terms — service area, fees by PIN code, delivery timing, and what happens if you are not available — are in our Delivery policy.

Cancellations, refunds & product issues

Cancellation windows, refund timelines, and the process for reporting quality issues are described in our Refunds & Cancellations policy. Briefly: you may cancel for a full refund before we begin baking; once baking has started a cancellation is no longer possible. Quality issues must be reported within 30 minutes of delivery with photo evidence.

Product nature & allergens

• Our current cupcake range is eggless and pure-veg. Any product introduced later that contains egg will be clearly labelled at the point of order.
• Our bakery handles wheat flour, dairy (milk, butter, cream), refined sugar, soy lecithin (in chocolate), and tree nuts. We cannot guarantee an absence of cross-contact with these ingredients. If you have a serious allergy, please tell us before ordering.
• Cupcakes are perishable. Once delivered, they are best consumed within 24 hours and kept refrigerated if not eaten immediately.

Intellectual property

The Shockeen name, logo, photography, recipes, and the content of this site are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them for commercial use without written permission. Personal sharing of an order photo on social media is welcome and we'd love a tag.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example, a missed event), provided we have made reasonable efforts to deliver on the agreed slot.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the bottom of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on the site and apply to orders placed after the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi.
